Dr. Perez Ayieko Onono is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Economics and the Executive Dean of the School of Business, Economics and Tourism at Kenyatta University. She holds a PhD in Economics & M.A in Economics, both from Kenyatta University; Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) of Maseno University, and BSc. in Agricultural Economics of Egerton University. Perez is an active consultant and researcher with a wide range of training and research experience in Public Sector Economics – Taxation, expenditure and debt analysis including fiscal decentralization; Agricultural development, Productivity and Policy Analysis, Human Development and Poverty analysis; Project Appraisal and Evaluation. She has University teaching and research experience of about 16 years, since 2008.
