Dr. Fredrick W S Ndede. is a senior lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance in the School of Business, Economics and Tourism at Kenyatta University. He completed PhD in Finance at Kenyatta University, a Master of Commerce at Poona University and Bachelor of Commerce at Rani Durgavati University and a Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Nairobi. In addition, he received the Professional Development Named Award in recognition by SEDA after the successful completion of Developing Blended Learning in supporting technology learning in 2021.

Dr. Ndede has several years of teaching and research experience. His research interests include, but are not limited to, innovative entrepreneurial sources of  financing, digital banking, sustainable development, e-commerce and corporate governance, He has supervised over 50 students to completion including; 2 PhD, 19 MSc (Finance) theses and 34 MBA Projects. Dr. Ndede is also engaged with several outreach activities within and outside the University, in addition to teaching, research, consultancy and publishing in journals. He has over 30 publications in refereed journals.

Dr. Ndede has a long experience in university administration. He is the director of Kenyatta University Embu Campus. He is the former Chair of the Postgraduate Board and member of the Postgraduate Board in the School of Business, chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance and chair Department of Business Studies in the Faculty of Education. Served as examination coordinator and faculty advisor to students in the Department of Business Studies. Dr. Ndede continues to serve as an internal examiner for PhD, MSc (Finance) thesis and MBA projects for Kenyatta University and external examiner for other universities. He is also a peer reviewer for the National Commission for Science and Technology and Innovations (NACOSTI) and a reviewer of journal articles. He is a full member of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and a member of the Non-Fiction Authors Association. He has attended several conferences and workshops and also participated in the organization of conferences and workshops.
