Dr Fredrick W S Ndede is a senior lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance in the School of Business, Economics and Tourism at Kenyatta University. He completed PhD in Finance at Kenyatta University, a Master of Commerce at Poona University and Bachelor of Commerce at Rani Durgavati University and a Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Nairobi. In addition, he received the Professional Development Named Award in recognition by SEDA after the successful completion of Developing Blended Learning in supporting technology learning in 2021.

Dr. Ndede has several years of teaching and research experience. His research interests include, but are not limited to, innovative entrepreneurial financing, digital banking, sustainable development, e-commerce and corporate governance, Dr Ndede has been involved with several research and training projects local and international. He has supervised several postgraduate students to completion at; PhD, MSc (Finance) and MBA Projects. Dr. Ndede is also engaged with several outreach activities within and outside the University in addition to teaching, research, consultancy and publishing in journals. He has several publications in refereed journals.

Dr. Ndede has a lot of experience in university administration. He was the director of Kenyatta University Embu Campus between 2019 and 2023. He is the former Chair of the Postgraduate Board and member of Postgraduate Board in the School of Business, chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance and chair Department of Business Studies in the Faculty of Education. Served also in the position of examination coordinator and faculty advisor to students in the Department of Business Studies. Dr. Ndede continues to serve in the position of internal examiner for PhD, and MSc (Finance) thesis and MBA projects for Kenyatta University and external examiner for other universities. He is also a peer reviewer for the National Commission for Science and Technology and Innovations (NACOSTI) and a reviewer of journal articles. He is a full member of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and a member of the Non-Fiction Authors Association. He has attended several conferences and workshops and also participated in the organization of a number of conferences and workshops.
