NOTICE OF A MEETING WITH ALL M.SC. (FINANCE) STUDENTS
All M.Sc. (Finance) students who have cleared coursework are invited for a meeting on 4 th October 2018 at 5.30 p.m. at the Kenyatta University City Campus Hall 5.
- To discuss the thesis writing challenges; and
- Come up with way forward to fast track completion rates.
MBA PROPOSAL DEFENSE NOVEMBER 2018
This is to inform all postgraduate students in MBA programme that there will be a proposal defense meeting on Tuesday 6th November, 2018 at Alumni Building (Main Campus) starting 8.30 a.m.
This defense is for students who have successfully completed their coursework and have registered for the Research Project. The qualified students should submit six spiral bound copies of their Research Proposals duly signed by themselves and supervisor(s) to the Doctoral and MBA Coordination office before or by Friday, 2nd November, 2018. All postgraduate students are also invited to attend the defense meeting.
Please arrange to attend and be punctual.

MASTER’S IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION POSTGRADUATE SEMINAR
As a prelude to the forth-coming August 2018, Graduation ceremony, the school held its Annual Postgraduate Seminar for Master’s students on Tuesday 17 July 2018 at the Kenyatta University Business Services and Students Center (BSSC) Building, Seminar room 12. The theme of the seminar was “Education for Attainment of Kenya’s Big Four Agenda”. In attendance was the Registrar (Academic) who delivered the keynote speech, the Dean School of Business, Departmental Chairpersons, Members of Teaching and non-teaching staff from the School of Business and MBA graduand.
Linkages and Collaboration - School of Business
In an effort to enhance international linkages, the School of Business is a member of Association of African Business Schools (AABS), an association that brings together business Schools in Africa on a common platform to share best practices in training Business students. The focus is training for the industry. AABS conference was organized and held on May 2018 in Tanzania, Dar e salaam School of Business, where the Dean Dr. Paul K. Sang represented the School of Business, Kenyatta University. The event provided an opportunity for networking as well as input on management education trends across Africa and internationally, with the focus of improving the quality of management education in Africa. The participation of the School of Business Kenyatta University enables the School to contribute towards economic growth and development in the continent through our Programmes.
